14:46I imagine a lot of traders do not want to be long this weekend after BO said he will address the nation on Tuesday. Sounds like missles flying over the weekend or Monday. Nasty Mars Square Saturn aspect on Monday. Aspect of aggression and war.

11:44A little distracted this morning due to some other events going on in my life.
As for Trade #3, we should have waited for 1660 or 1659 due to the ROUND NUMBERS Rule. The market is attracted to round number like 1660, 1670, 1650. Notice the bottom today was near 1640.

11:39I''m looking for a top here. 1660 is likely it.

10:10According to the numbers they released Thursday, the percentage of the US population actually taking part in “work” is down to 43.7% <http://www.gallup.com/poll/164273/payroll-population-rate-drops-august.aspx>, which is nearly 20 points below what the government has been selling; generally in the 60’s.

09:32Treasury prices pop following the slight miss in the Nonfarm payroll print. TLT +1.25% and the 10-year Treasury yield falls to 2.87% (was 2.96% ahead of report).
Stock index futures move to session highs, the S&P 500 (SPY) +0.55%.
The headline miss was just 11K jobs, but July''s 162K print was revised down to 104K, and June''s 188K gain was cut to 172K.

HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS HAVE MANY INHERENT LIMITATIONS, SOME OF WHICH ARE DESCRIBED BELOW. NO REPRESENTATION IS BEING MADE THAT ANY ACCOUNT WILL OR IS LIKELY TO ACHIEVE PROFITS OR LOSSES SIMILAR TO THOSE SHOWN; IN FACT, THERE ARE FREQUENTLY SHARP DIFFERENCES BETWEEN HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS AND THE ACTUAL RESULTS SUBSEQUENTLY ACHIEVED BY ANY PARTICULAR TRADING PROGRAM. ONE OF THE LIMITATIONS OF HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS IS THAT THEY ARE GENERALLY PREPARED WITH THE BENEFIT OF HINDSIGHT. IN ADDITION, HYPOTHETICAL TRADING DOES NOT INVOLVE FINANCIAL RISK, AND NO HYPOTHETICAL TRADING RECORD CAN COMPLETELY ACCOUNT FOR THE IMPACT OF FINANCIAL RISK OF ACTUAL TRADING. FOR EXAMPLE, THE ABILITY TO WITHSTAND LOSSES OR TO ADHERE TO A PARTICULAR TRADING PROGRAM IN SPITE OF TRADING LOSSES ARE MATERIAL POINTS WHICH CAN ALSO ADVERSELY AFFECT ACTUAL TRADING RESULTS. THERE ARE NUMEROUS OTHER FACTORS RELATED TO THE MARKETS IN GENERAL OR TO THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ANY SPECIFIC TRADING PROGRAM WHICH CANNOT BE FULLY ACCOUNTED FOR IN THE PREPARATION OF HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS AND ALL WHICH CAN ADVERSELY AFFECT TRADING RESULTS.

Futures trading is complex and carries the risk of substantial losses. It is not suitable for all investors. The ability to withstand losses and to adhere to a particular trading program in spite of trading losses are material points which can adversely affect investor returns.
