TIMEALERTS
22:21What a miserable day. I was looking for a move higher. Based on the Pennant and levle 3 reversal around 12:00, I recommended taking a long position. Got stopped out when Obama started speaking. Too bad, it would have been a good trade.

Took two earlier trades trying to short the market, but the market kept pushing higher.

The colored boxes are Gillen sensitive Moon degrees. Still don't know how they should be used.

Trades: -3, -2.5, +1.5, 0

15:25Chart update

15:03Chart update.

15:02Chart update.

14:56Chart update.

14:52Senate says they have a deal.

13:58Stopped out @ 1407 [0]

13:54Lower stop to 1407. This is B.S.

13:51Not what the markets wanted to hear.

13:49In @ 1407

13:46Short now

13:23If Obama had something bad to say, wouldn't he be speaking later in the day?

13:23More bullish pennants are forming.

13:14Negative Gillen Moon degree at 1:15. Obama speaks at 1:30. :-(

13:06Chart update

13:04If it wasn't for this damn Fiscal Cliff, I would be short here.

12:57Candles pointing lower. Will wait for Obama before putting on another trade.

12:56Stopped out @ 1408.50 [+1.5]

12:47Chances of a "W" reversal to the downside are highly unlikely now. But be prepared to flip when Obama speaks.

12:42Buy @ 1407 stop 3 points

12:41Obama to speak at 1:30

12:32Moving up outside the pennant, but no news yet. Could turn into a "W" reversal and send us lower.

12:27I am looking for good news to break, but it could be bad news and send the markets tumbling. Watch the news! Today everything is about the news.

12:11Bullish Pennant formations on most charts. Low 1398, High 1404.

11:58Level 3 reversal at 12:10 is about 10 minutes away.

11:56Chart update

11:55Candles on 15-minute chart suggesting a pull-back. 10- and 13-minute chart forming a bullish pennant.

11:31Now we are moving below the upward channel. I am not going to short. Markets have made up their minds that there will be a resolution. Any pull-backs will be viewed as opportunities to go long. Especially around the 12:10 reversal.

10:43Pervious reversals have mostly failed to form correctly.

10:42RV @ 12:10

10:35A number of reversal signals starting to form. Watching.

10:30We were right to wait. Another pop up. Not often you get a chance to play the market on a day when Washington could ruin the entire economy by the end of the day.

10:23Chart update.

10:22Another short opportunity here. I think there is some underlining bullish sentiment here. Chart shows an upward channel. I am waiting for a breakout to the downside.

10:03chart update

09:58Those were both perfectly good set up. I am standing aside.

09:57stopped out 1398.5 [-2.5] --> backing off.

09:53Sell 1396 - stop 1398.5

09:47Stopped otu @ 1396 [-3]

09:33Sell @ 1393 - stop @ 1396

09:28Looking to short.

HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS HAVE MANY INHERENT LIMITATIONS, SOME OF WHICH ARE DESCRIBED BELOW. NO REPRESENTATION IS BEING MADE THAT ANY ACCOUNT WILL OR IS LIKELY TO ACHIEVE PROFITS OR LOSSES SIMILAR TO THOSE SHOWN; IN FACT, THERE ARE FREQUENTLY SHARP DIFFERENCES BETWEEN HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS AND THE ACTUAL RESULTS SUBSEQUENTLY ACHIEVED BY ANY PARTICULAR TRADING PROGRAM. ONE OF THE LIMITATIONS OF HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS IS THAT THEY ARE GENERALLY PREPARED WITH THE BENEFIT OF HINDSIGHT. IN ADDITION, HYPOTHETICAL TRADING DOES NOT INVOLVE FINANCIAL RISK, AND NO HYPOTHETICAL TRADING RECORD CAN COMPLETELY ACCOUNT FOR THE IMPACT OF FINANCIAL RISK OF ACTUAL TRADING. FOR EXAMPLE, THE ABILITY TO WITHSTAND LOSSES OR TO ADHERE TO A PARTICULAR TRADING PROGRAM IN SPITE OF TRADING LOSSES ARE MATERIAL POINTS WHICH CAN ALSO ADVERSELY AFFECT ACTUAL TRADING RESULTS. THERE ARE NUMEROUS OTHER FACTORS RELATED TO THE MARKETS IN GENERAL OR TO THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ANY SPECIFIC TRADING PROGRAM WHICH CANNOT BE FULLY ACCOUNTED FOR IN THE PREPARATION OF HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS AND ALL WHICH CAN ADVERSELY AFFECT TRADING RESULTS.

Futures trading is complex and carries the risk of substantial losses. It is not suitable for all investors. The ability to withstand losses and to adhere to a particular trading program in spite of trading losses are material points which can adversely affect investor returns.
